Bring your water/trash bill for admission to the City's recycle center
Bring your water bill with you if you want to recycle household items or drop off yard waste at the City of Burleson's Recycle and Compost Center. The site at 610 Memorial Plaza is for use by residential customers within the city limits who pay a garbage fee to the City. People have asked if they can just show a driver's license as proof of residency, but that is not proof that you are paying the garbage fee, which is what supports Burleson's Recycle and Compost Center. Rural residents as well as some commercial yard/tree companies have been utilizing the City's center. If you pay a garbage fee to the City of Burleson and you have recycle items or need to get rid of the yard waste/tree limbs, stop by 610 Memorial Plaza (located behind Fire Station #2, next to Burleson Memorial Cemetery) on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and we'll help you out! Johnson County does have a county wide recycling center in Cleburne. Anyone who lives in the county and not in the city limits can use this facility. There are actually four drop-off sites. For the county sites, call 817-641-2236 for more information.
