They worked hard for those Easter eggs
There were some sweet sights at the BRiCk's Aqua Egg Hunt on March 28, and this is one of them, as two girls team up to gather the eggs. The fun on March 28 began at 10 a.m. as children from birth to 11 years old donned goggles and swimsuits for the hunt for plastic eggs in the play structure area and the lap pool. There were four "hunting sessions" and all four were packed with children and their families. To see the rest of the pictures, go to the City of Burleson Texas Facebook page.

The Easter Bunny was at Bunny Daze
Hidden Creek Sports Complex was packed March 28 as families checked in for the City's annual Bunny Daze and Easter Egg Hunt. There was entertainment, pictures with the Easter Bunny, lots and lots of games and vendors, great food from the concession stand, train rides, and the ever popular Easter egg hunt on Field 1. The annual event had to be moved from Bartlett Park to Hidden Creek this year because Bartlett Park is being transformed in to a soccer complex. For the rest of the Bunny Daze pictures, go to the City of Burleson Texas Facebook page.

Joey entertained at the Russell Farm Easter egg hunt
Not many people can say they went to an Easter egg hunt hosted by a real live donkey! Joey the donkey donned his pink and white bunny ears and visited with the children who stopped by Russell Farm on March 28. The hunt was for children from birth to 4 years old. The 30-acre Russell Farm, located at 405 W. CR 714, was donated to the City in 2011. The grounds have several galleries containing wood sculptures by Charlie Boren and local artists, along with historical artifacts, and, of course, Joey and his donkey friends. To see the rest of the pictures from the Easter egg hunt at Russell Farm, go to the City of Burleson Texas Facebook page.
