This Thursday, August 25, marks an important milestone for the National Park Service: 100 years of caring for and sharing the stories of the most incredible public lands in the world. As we welcome in a second century of stewardship to promote park access, enrichment, and preservation, we hope you'll join us in reflection and celebration by supporting the most visited unit of the National Park Service: the Blue Ridge Parkway. Rise to the Challenge

In 2015 and 2016, the National Park Service selected projects across the country to receive congressional dollars to match donations from partner organizations. As part of this Centennial Challenge, the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation is committed to raising funds for several restoration and improvement projects along the Parkway. Select a project that means the most to you, and help make it happen. Your gift will be matched dollar for dollar.

Find Your Pint

The outdoors and beer go hand in hand in the Blue Ridge Mountains. As the Asheville area's beer scene has grown, breweries small and large have always shown their commitment to protecting the landscape that makes our region a natural wonderland. That's why we teamed up with 17 local breweries for Find Your Pint beer events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service and give a boost to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Join us as we toast the next century of stewardship from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 25, at Highland Brewing Company! A portion of beer sales for the entire month will benefit the Parkway.
