THE CHRISTMAS CANDLE

It's certainly not every day that we have a former presidential candidate on campus, but last month Linfield's seniors were blessed with the tremendous privilege of a visit from former PA Senator Rick Santorum! The senator was in Southern California promoting a film he helped produce with Echolight Studios called The Christmas Candle, and he spoke to students about the need to be proactive in spreading the love, hope, and This Weekend!Truth of Christ in our culture. In particular, he shared his passion for supporting filmmakers within the faith community so that they can make a positive impact and be a light in the darkness.

The Christmas Candle comes out in theaters this weekend and will be showing for a limited time at the Edwards Theater in Temecula at the Promenade. The theater is actually holding spots for Linfield families to attend at 1:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 24! This is a God-centered family movie, and if people attend and support it, the theater will open up next Friday and Saturday (November 29-30) to Linfield families as well. Purchase tickets by clicking here, through Fandango, or at the Edwards theater itself. We'll see you there!

MEXICO HOUSE BUILD

For the third year in a row, a team of LCHS students and faculty will be partnering with Baja Bound to build a home for a family outside of Ensenada, Mexico. Over 55 students have already signed up for the trip! If you haven't signed up yet but are still interested, please see Miss Young about getting on the waiting list.

We also need your help! Our goal is to fundraise the cost of the building supplies for the house ($6375) and transportation ($2000) as to minimize the cost of the trip for each student. Please contact Amber Young to learn more. We also covet your prayers as we prepare to bless our Mexican brothers and sisters in Christ!
