At Linfield we seek to partner with parents to write extraordinary stories of courage and faith into the lives of our students, and we invite you to share these stories with your friends and family in the community.

 

Special Drawing

Refer an eligible* family to Linfield's upcoming Campus Preview on Sunday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m.; if they attend, you will be entered into a drawing for an HP Chromebook or 4 Disneyland tickets (winner's choice)!

 

To enter, simply e-mail the name of the family you referred to bswanson@linfield.com no later than 12:00 p.m. on November 17. You will receive one entry for each referred family that attends. DECOUPAGE
Celebrating 10 Years!
The last 10 years have been a whirlwind of artistic activity for our performing arts program.This Weekend! To celebrate and take a trip down memory lane, please join us for Decoupage! Our current students will perform some of the most memorable songs from the last 10 years of Linfield musicals and give a bit of history as to what brought us to this point. All performances will be held in the Linfield Black Box Theater

 

Evening - November 7, 9 & 10 at 7:00 p.m. 

Matinee - November 9 & 10 at 2:00 p.m.

*Note - there will be no performance on Friday, November 8

VETERAN'S DAY ASSEMBLY

November 8, 2013    8:55 a.m.- 10:20 a.m.

We are excited to continue the tradition of honoring our veterans in a special MS/HS Veteran's Day assembly! It is our desire to honor those who have served in the military, to teach our students about the significance of the celebration, and to instill in them a gratitude for the freedoms they enjoy. GOLF TOURNAMENT
We are excited to invite you to be a part of Linfield's 14th Annual Golf Tournament! This tournament, held in support of Linfield Athletics, will take place on Thursday, November 14 at Journey at Pechanga Golf Course. Participants will enjoy a day filled with hole-in-one, putting, longest drive, and closest to the pin contests, and they will be provided with a continental breakfast, lunch, hors d'oeuvres, and entrance to an awards reception.There are also many volunteer and sponsorship opportunities available. Football Helmet

Varsity Football's last home game is against Aquinas tomorrow night, Friday, November 8 at 7:30 p.m. It is also Senior Night, and we will be honoring all of our senior fall athletes during halftime and immediately following the game. Please come out and support the Lions as they play their last league game before heading to CIF playoffs!

MIDNIGHT MADNESS

Friday, November 8   10:30 p.m.-12:00 a.m.
You're invited to Midnight Madness! This annual event kicks off the basketball season and will take place in the high school gym directly following the home Varsity Football game on Friday, November 8! Click here for more details.

HS SOCCER TRYOUTS

Soccer BallBoys Soccer: The last day of tryouts is Saturday, November 9 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. on Fox Field.

  

Girls Soccer: Tryouts will continue tomorrow, November 8 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on the Middle School field. The last day of tryouts is Tuesday, November 12 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on the MS field.
MS CROSS COUNTRY
Congratulations to the MS Cross Country team on their extraordinary season! At the league championship race, the boys team placed 5th overall, and the girls team placed 2nd. Three students even placed in the top five! Montana Beucler got 1st place; Luca Burns got 3rd, and Gio Cassaro got 5th.
CHRISTMAS TREE FUNDRAISER

Christmas TreesLinfield's HS Baseball program is currently selling Christmas trees, wreaths and garland, and all proceeds will go towards providing field, dugout, and equipment upgrades. Please place orders by November 15 @ www.southwesternfgorders.com (group code: lions baseball). SCRIP PURCHASES
Scrip CardsChristmas is just two months away, and it's never too early to start planning for the shopping and gift-giving season! In order to ensure that you will be able to get the scrip cards you want to use for post-Thanksgiving shopping, please order before November 17. To ensure delivery of scrip before Christmas break, please order by December 15. Don't forget that you can order online here.
 
Business Office Reminder:
The Business Office would like to remind you that statements will not be mailed out this year. Please log on to your TADS account to check parent participation and scrip balances. Remember that all parent participation and scrip purchases must be completed prior to May 13, 2014. 
JR. LIONS BASKETBALL CAMP

The high school basketball teams and varsity coaches will introduce basketball and conditioning skills to ES students in Jr.K-5th grade. Participants will also have the opportunity to play in team competition. Click here for a registration form.

NOVEMBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH

Roman Musselman was selected as the November 2013 High School Student of the Month. The Temecula Chamber of Commerce, city officials, and local sponsors support this event hosted by Sizzler Restaurant. The breakfast is even televised via tape delay through the local cable TV channel. Congratulations to Roman on receiving this prestigious award!
