MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
September 26-29, 2013
Don't miss out on the opportunity to fall under the spell of William Shakespeare's most joyful and popular comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream. This presentation, a collaboration between Linfield Theater Arts and CYT Riverside County, unfolds in an enchanted forest where fairies play tricks on unsuspecting lovers and bumbling actors are transformed beyond their wildest dreams. With magic potions, humor, music, and spectacle, anything can and does happen.

All performances will take place in Linfield's Black Box Theater. Ticket prices are as follows: $15 - Reserved; $10 - Adults: $8 - Students.

PARKING SPACE RAFFLE
Elementary & Middle School Parents: The best parking space on campus can be yours! We will be raffling off one spot on the Elementary campus and one on the Middle School campus. Tickets will be sold from September 28 until 3:30 p.m. on October 14, and ticket prices are as follows: $10 for 1 ticket; $100 for 12 tickets. Both the JV and Varsity teams will be traveling to San Luis Obispo to play against Mission College Prep Catholic High School this weekend. Varsity will play on Friday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. on the Mission Prep campus, and the JV game will be played on Saturday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Pioneer Valley High School in Santa Maria.

JV Volleyball will play in the Hemet Tournament on Saturday, September 28; the tournament begins at 8:00 a.m. On Tuesday, October 1, JV and Varsity will be away at Western Christian for league matches at 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. Then on Thursday, October 3, both teams will host league opponent Ontario Christian; JV plays at 5:00 p.m., and Varsity plays at 6:00 p.m.

 Girls Tennis will play a match against Ontario Christian at the Claremont Tennis Club on Tuesday, October 1 at 3:00 p.m.

Linfield's Cross-Country team will run in the Hemet Diamond Valley meet on Saturday, September 28 at 8:00 a.m. Then on Tuesday, October 1, we will host the first league meet on our campus! Race time is at 3:45 p.m., so come out and support our Lions!

The Lions continued their success after running two miles in the sand at the Lake Perris Invitational on Saturday. Eight of Linfield's runners placed in this event and contributed to the boys' 6th place showing and the girls' 4th place showing. Standouts included Montana Beucler who won 1st place with a 13.51 and Gio Cassaro who got 6th place with a 12:58. The first league meet will be held on October 1. Please come out and support our MS athletes!

RABB SOCCER ACADEMY: K-12 PROGRAM

Rabb Soccer Academy will offer an after-school K-12 soccer program beginning on October 8; each session will consist of four weeks of 1 hour classes, and the price is $55.00 per month. Parent Information Nights are a great way for you to get the latest information on college admission trends and requirements. You will also receive grade-specific suggestions and important information for your student. See the specific dates and times listed below. All meetings will take place in HS Room 112.

Saturday, October 5, 2013
We are offering a mock SAT/ACT Combo test on Saturday, October 5. This test will provide students with valuable experience in a testing environment, and it will give them an indication of how they might score on the SAT and ACT. We recommend that ALL juniors take this test because we can use the scores to come up with individual testing timelines and to determine how much preparation (if any) your student will require. The cost is $20 per student, and sign-up forms are available in the counseling office.

NATIONAL CHRISTIAN COLLEGE FAIR |

Linfield Christian School will be hosting the National Christian College Fair in the gym on Wednesday, October 16 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. This will be a great opportunity for students to meet representatives from Christian colleges and universities from around the country. JUNIOR LIONS FOOTBALL CAMP

 September 30-October 2, 2013 2:45-4:15 p.m.
ES students (boys and girls) from Jr.K- 5th grade are invited to participate in Junior Lions Football Camp from September 20-October 2. High school players and coaches will introduce the basics of football to our students out on Fox Field, and all proceeds will go to ES Field Day and the high school football program. The cost is $50 per athlete, and registration forms can be found here.

Bricks for Kids is a hands-on after-school enrichment class in which students will design and build educational models (including motorized machines), be introduced to robotics, and even explore diferent forms of energy...all by building and playing with LEGO bricks. At the end of the six-week session, each student will even take home a custom mini-figure. For more information on how to register, please click here.

Chloe Howard was selected as the September 2013 High School Student of the Month. The Temecula Chamber of Commerce, city officials, and local sponsors support this event hosted by Sizzler Restaurant.
