Important Dual Credit Change:
  • The deadline for all paperwork and testing to be completed has been changed per FWISD to Friday, March 4 at 3:00 p.m.
  • Due to many concerns, including staffing, this is a firm deadline.
  • Read dual credit packet carefully and complete all forms completely.
PSAT Parent and student meeting:
  • 9th and 10th Grade parents and students: Scheduled for Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in the Ralph Miller Auditorium at 6pm
  • You will receive your score report.
  • We will address how these scores impact scheduling
  • You will learn how to utilize a customized study guide from College Board based on your results.

PSAT Scores Available January 7, 2016:

  • 9th, 10th & 11th grade score reports will be available January 7 at this website: studentscores.collegeboard.org
  • An access code will be emailed to students if they provided their email address on the PSAT answer sheet. If they did not provide their email, they may get their access code in the counseling office or in room 231.
Attention Juniors,
Remember the SAT is changing in March and we suggest that you consider taking the January 23 SAT (deadline to register is Dec. 28). This will be the last 'old' style SAT you can take. You will be taking the new style SAT during a school day administration on March 2. Because you have prepped for the 'old 'style exam for many years you could benefit from this opportunity.

WHAT: Free Blue Zones Purpose Workshop
DATE: Wednesday, January 6, 2016
TIME: 4-6 p.m.
LOCATION: Paschal High School Cafeteria

What better way to start off the new year than by attending a Purpose workshop here at Paschal? This is the next phase of our Blue Zones initiative and it's a big one.
Be a part of something historical. We WILL be among the first Blue Zones approved high schools in the United States!
Registration for our Paschal High School Purpose Workshop is now open.
Sign-up here.

Why you should go:
  • Because you should put yourself first and do something for YOU
  • Because Paschal High School is working to become a nationally recognized Blue Zones approved school and this is a big deal in the process of becoming that.
  • Because this is a great opportunity to bond together as a staff
  • Because we will be serving Blue Zones approved snacks
  • Because we will be hosting a similar workshop for students and we want you to not only promote it, but say you did it!
Also, I do have a box of Dan Buettner's The Blue Zones book in my office if you would like to come by and check out one. Learn what the Blue Zones are and the research behind it!
