News from Advanced Academics
Award Ceremony: The Paschal Award Ceremony (all grades will be represented) will be held on Tuesd ay, May 26, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in The Ralph Miller Auditorium. We will announce recipient's names (not awards) at school and post list on the website as soon as possible.
Summer Courses at Paschal: We still have room in our redesigned PSAT/SAT Summer Course in all sessions. The SAT Boot Camp also has a few spaces available. The Countdown to College course is full.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to begin learning the new formal of the SAT/PSAT by attending the summer course. Not only have we aligned our course to meet the new standards but we strongly feel the more familiar students are with the exam the better score they can achieve.
All registration forms are available at paschalhs.org or you can call The Advanced Academics Office at 817.814.5041 for more information.

Report Scholarship Awards!
Senior Parents: Have you told Paschal about your student's scholarship offers? Paschal will soon be publishing the amount of scholarships awarded to Paschal's Class of 2015! The class has currently communicated a total of:
$ 4,630,996 !!!!
The student receiving the award will remain anonymous, but the total amount will serve to celebrate Paschal and the achievements the senior class has received as a whole!
1. Institutional scholarships from college
2. Institutional scholarships offered from colleges
even if student is not attending that college!
2. Bring a copy to the Counselor's Office
Other high schools throughout the district have been collecting these numbers so lets be sure that Paschal shines through with an accurate number! Every dollar counts. Thank you for your communication; we look forward to celebrating your student's success!

PHS Science Team News!
Paschal Students Wyatt Reeves and Edward Nguyen have both medaled in the United States Physics
Olympiad Exam! Wyatt and Edward earned silver and bronze medals, respectively, placing them in
the top 120 physics students in the country.
The process of selecting the US Physics Team began in January when approximately 4400 physics students
from around the country sat for a national exam. The top 259 were invited to take the three hour semi-final
exam. The top 20 (all gold medalists) on the semi-final exam will become the US Physics Team and compete in
the International Physics Olympiad in Mumbai, India.
We are so proud of Wyatt and Edward, their effort and performance to achieve this level of success!
Edward will attend MIT in the fall, while Wyatt will return to PHS for his senior year (and another shot at
making the US Physics Team). Their PHS Physics teachers have been Linda Antinone and Dr. Charles Reidl.
