News from Advanced Academics

Students who received a dual credit packet from our office for the next school year, the packet must be completed entirely and kept intact.  The packets are due in room 231 NO LATER than 3:00 on Friday, March 27.  We will not take late packets so remember the deadline.

Paschal Advanced Academic Summer Courses are filling up. Come by room 231 for registration forms. Courses we offer are:

  • SAT/PSAT Summer Course for 10th grade and younger
  • SAT Boot Camp for Juniors
  • Countdown to College for Juniors

To fund the needs of the PTA which include grounds upkeep, teacher wish lists, scholarships, Naviance and Senior Celebration to name a few, we need to raise at least $10,000. There will be a lottery system for parking spots next year so make sure you come to the party for a chance to bid on one!

Just buying a ticket also gives you a chance for the drawing for a FREE parking spot!

Tickets will not be sold at the door!

Paschal Scholarship Fund

Providing Opportunity, Rewarding Achievement

Since 1885

Dear Friends of  R.L. Paschal High School,

One hundred years after Paschal opened its doors to students, the Paschal PTA began the important task of awarding scholarships to special seniors who applied for financial help with the cost of continuing their education.

Today that work continues.

The Paschal Scholarship Fund of the PTA offers two awards, and two opportunities for you to make a tangible difference in the lives of Seniors in the class of 2015.

  • Scholastic Achievement Award - a student must graduate with a 3.8 or higher GPA. They must have participated in several extra-curricular activities including some in which they held leadership positions and must obtain two teacher recommendations.

  • Opportunity Award - a student must have at least a 3.0 or higher GPA, have participated in at least one extra-curricular activity, obtain two teacher recommendations, and be from a family living below the poverty line, and/or be the first in their family to attend college.

Since Paschal PTA is a fully recognized 501-C3 non-profit organization, 100% of your contribution will be tax deductible.

You may contribute with your credit card or PayPal at:

The PTA and the Class of 2015 express our sincere gratitude for your generosity and support!
