"That's Absurd-Ionesco"

February 12 - 14 & 19 - 21

7:30 Every evening plus

2:30 matinees on Saturdays

$5 Students and Staff

$8 General Admission

This production is a departure from standard theatre.  Eugene Ionesco is one of the leaders of the Theatre of the Absurd.  The two one acts are dark comedies that explore the idea of the chaos of the modern world.  Although written in the 1950's, the plays are very contemporary in their impact.

Edward Nguyen
Semifinalist in Intel Talent Search

Congratulations to Edward Nguyen, a senior, who was named a semifinalist in the Intel Talent Search for his research project "Chaotic Trajectories of Particles in an Inverted Parabolic Wedge and Their Implications for Low Temperature Physics".

Edward was one of only 300 students nationally and only 15 in Texas to be recognized.

Congratulations to PHS sophomore Jakab Macias who was named to the Texas All-State Concert Band's alto saxophone section - one of the highest honors a high school musician can achieve in Texas.  For more details and to read about all the talented PHS musicians who have been selected to play with the All-Area and All-Region Bands, click here.

Christine Vonder Haar was a member of the very first All Girls' Programming Contest Team Championship in the spring of 2014.  This year, she wanted to defend her title, but other girls who could be on the team were attending a math, Christine decided to be a team of one!  Teams ordinarily have 3 members.

She and her family journeyed to Plano West High School over the weekend to defend Paschal's title.

SHE CAME IN 2ND PLACE BY HERSELF!  She was very close to 1st place, but had a small coding error.
