Paschal Programming Team

The lethal Paschal Programming Team struck again last Saturday in Plano.

The team of Edward Nguyen, Christine Vonder Haar, and Wyatt Reeves swept the first three places in written, won first place in programming, and won the OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP!

Advanced team #2 consisting of Mario Garcia, Travis Herrick, and Mike Tran also did well, as did team #3: Kuan Wei Huang, Jack Thielman, and freshman Jack Klinger, placing in the top 10.

The beginning team of Katie Hyry, Hanwool Yun, and Noah Ortega also had a respectable showing.

Please congratulate these warriors when you see them. Christine will defend her Championship in the 2nd annual All Girls Programming Contest to be held at Plano West High School on January 31.  Last year was the very first one, and Paschal, with Christine, Kristina Bueche, and Madison Neville were the very first CHAMPIONS!

Special thanks to Tom Kiesel and Jana Reeves (Wyatt's mother) for giving up their weekend to drive our warriors to Plano.

Joy Syndney's Reflections entry, Beautiful Within, has been advanced to state-level judging! This is a wonderful achievement as nearly 60,000 students participate in the program annually and less than 3% of those advance to Texas PTA.
