Paschal Science Team Wins Virtual Competition

75 teams and over 5oo students competed from across Texas!


Individual Top Ten Finishes: 

Paul Ryu - 4th overall, 2nd place 11th grade biology, 1st place 11th grade chemistry, 

Junsung Lee - 2nd biology, 7th overall, 

Edward Nguyen - 4th Physics, 

Hanwool Yun - 6th place 9th grade, 3rd place 9th grade physics

Joseph Reitman - 5th place 9th grade chemistry

InHo Kim - 6th place tenth grade science, 2nd tenth grade biology

Sujata Dalal - 3rd place tenth grade chemistry


Back-to-School Event

It's the new year, and it's time to start thinking about Summer 2015!  As you make plans for next Summer, please keep in mind the following dates for the annual PHS Back-to-School Event:

 

Seniors:  Monday, August 10

Juniors:  Tuesday, August 11

Sophomores:  Wednesday, August 12

Freshmen:  Thursday, August 13 or Friday, August 14*

 

Make-up Date:  Friday afternoon, August 14

 

*Freshmen will be assigned a day and time based on last name.

 

At this event, students will have the opportunity do the following:

  • Get a new student ID
  • Purchase parking passes
  • Pick-up their schedules
  • Get a locker
  • Purchase PHS spirit items

 

If your student is unable to attend on his/her assigned day and time AND unable to attend on Friday afternoon during the make-up session, s/he must wait until the first day of school to take care of the items listed above.  No exceptions!

 

Thank you for planning ahead to ensure that your student will be able to attend.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Go Center's College Acceptance Wall
Any senior who gives a copy of his college acceptance letter to the Go Center or his counselor, will have have his name placed on the Acceptance Wall.  This not only recognizes the student, but it also enables all students to see which of their classmates have been accepted to the same universities. The names of the students listed on the wall will be put into a College Bound Raffle!

"That's Absurd-Ionesco"

This production is a departure from standard theatre.  Eugene Ionesco is one of the leaders of the Theatre of the Absurd.  The two one acts are dark comedies that explore the idea of the chaos of the modern world.  Although written in the 1950's, the plays are very contemporary in their impact.

Meeting should be brief and include all information regarding tryouts, camps and the squad for the upcoming school year. The Fort Worth Panhellenic organization will host its annual "Spring Forum" to discuss on campus Greek Life and explain the college sorority recruitment process for all universities and colleges around the country. All interested young ladies and their mothers are invited.

 

 

Volunteers are needed who are willing to write letters of recommendation for our senior young ladies that are considering going through sorority recruitment this coming year at college. If you are a member of any sorority and would like to help our senior girls please send your name, email and sorority affiliation to Crystal Williamson at enchantedimages@yahoo.com. We are updating our list from previous years.

Congrats to JROTC!

 

 

JROTC has once again qualified for the prestigious JROTC Service Championship to be held in Anniston, AL in February.  The top 25 Army JROTC teams from the southern US are invited to compete for this regional championship. The top 4 teams and individual placers in this competition are then invited to compete in the National Championship to be held in March in Ohio.
