News from Advanced Academics
Parents,
In order to ensure a study-free winter break, the Paschal Leadership Councils has agreed to move finals to the week of December 15. Testing will occur Wednesday December 17, Thursday December 18, and Friday December 19. Review sheets will be available the first week in December. Please rest assured that the movement in final exam dates does not mean teachers are teaching six weeks of content in three weeks. Rather, it means that topics covered by the final exam will be tested. Other topics will be covered when we get back in January. Teaching will continue through the end of the semester, and six weeks grades will encompass work done before and after the December holiday. The only change, this year, is that final exams will be finished well in advance of the last day of the semester. Although this is somewhat unconventional, we believe this calendar change will have a positive impact on the entire Paschal family.
