Please Help Improve Our Chances to Earn Grants for Projects to Enhance the School!

 

Please help Paschal earn grant dollars that can be used toward large items for the school.

 

1. Go to http://www.albertsonscpchallenge.com/ and log in by entering your e-mail address.
2. If this is your first time to the site, you will be taken to the e-mail verification page.
3. Once your email is confirmed you can login and vote using just your email.
4. Enter Charity Code in the upper left hand corner, click go. [See list of codes below; choose which one(s) you want to vote for]
5. Click on Vote.
 Charity Codes:

PTA: 0570 - electronic marquee, $10,000

 

Orchestra: 0772 - general upkeep and repair of instruments, $1,000

 

Band: 0731 - trailer for transporting instruments, $5,000

 

Baseball: 0548 - improve facilities, provide equipment and staff, $25,000

 

You can vote up to five times per day until Oct. 15. Please spread the word!

 

Tips for "maximizing" chances:
  • Please vote every day. And you are allowed to vote FIVE TIMES a day!!  
  • Use every email address you can: work, home, kids, gmail, yahoo, etc. Put a sign on the computer to remind everyone to vote.
  • Recruit others!! Hit up folks at work. Promise them you won't sell them candy if they'll vote!! Forward this email to them.
Festival del Mariachi Panteras is Oct. 8
 
The festival will be this Saturday, Oct., 8, in the auditorium from 6-8:30 p.m. Tickets are $2 in advance and $3 at the door. Children 12 and under are $1 at the door. Coupons can be purchased for 50 cents each for food and drinks. Entertainment will be local professional mariachi groups, high school mariachi groups, a mariachi from Mexico, and Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo from Fort Worth. 
 
The mariachi program at Paschal has increased in size by 160% since last year, so we need to raise money for more uniforms and instruments, as well as help offset costs for travel to competitions and workshops.

Parent Portal Registration Under Way

 

Parents may register for the Parent Portal starting Oct. 3, but will not have access to Parent Portal information until approximately 2-3 weeks after registration.

 

The Parent Portal allows you on-line access to your student's grades, homework, attendance, discipline and TAKS scores.  For more information, go to www.paschalhs.org or  www.fwisd.org.

 

Update on Canned Food Competition: 

  Students may drop off cans of food all next
 week at school. Labeled boxes are in the lobby. Thanks!

We CAN Do It!!!

 

Homecoming is

Friday, Oct. 14, between Paschal Panthers and Weatherford Roos.

 

Hiley Buick GMC will donate $2,500 to the Booster Club of the school that collects the most cans of food!  Hiley Buick GMC will have two GMC trucks in front of Farrington Field on game night.

Be sure to drop your cans in the truck with Paschal's name!

 

All cans donated benefit the Tarrant Area Food Bank.

 

As an added incentive, Ms. Mossige has agreed to give the underclassmen one lunch day off campus if they win.  If the upperclassmen win they will get a hat day and free tardy pass for one class period.

PHS Financial Aid Night will be Tuesday, Oct. 25, at  7 pm in the PHS library. A short PTA General Meeting will follow.
