Temple Survey

Are you a member age 19 or older? We want to hear from YOU via the TS survey. If you received a link to the survey in your email inbox on April 13, then please follow that link. If not, you can access the survey via a general link. Paper surveys are available by calling the office at (202) 363-6394.

The survey will close on Monday, May 4. Your input is important to us. Please take advantage of this final chance today to add your views about Temple Sinai programs and policies to the hundreds of other members who have already responded.

May Rabbi's Message
Leon Merrick credits his luck and the kindness of strangers when he talks about surviving the Holocaust and building his life in America. Leon, a temple member, shared his story during our annual Yom Hashoah memorial service. He told us about his move to Washington, DC, and his first days in America. He recalled the two older women who came to pick him up at Union Station, the man who met him at the boarding house and gave him $20 that first day, and the stranger in the park who overheard his accent, befriended him and eventually got Leon his first job. The World Zionist Congress election has a critical impact on the Reform movement in Israel. Millions of dollars are allocated by this election. ARZA, the Association of Reform Zionists of America, represents our movement and currently holds 56 of the United States 145 seats. The more votes cast for ARZA, the more funding goes to Reform activities in Israel. A registration fee of $10 ($5 if under 30 years old) is charged;  that is the only restriction.
