Change your habits, have less trash.

Now that spring is here, many of us will be doing a little spring cleaning. By changing a few habits you can help yourself and the environment! Let's all do our best to keep our carbon footprints to a minimum. Happy spring!

Spilled latex paint on wood floors?  Easy clean up with lemons and rubbing alcohol.
  1. Make your formula. Mix 3/4 cup of rubbing alcohol and 1/4 cup of lemon juice together.
  2. Scrape off what you can using a butter knife or unwanted cd.
  3. Wash the rest away, using an old rag, toothbrush or scrubber.

This may take some elbow grease, but it will work for most spilled latex paint. It also works on clothing!!

And it's a great way to clean your wood floors anytime.

Tax time is a great time to rid yourself of paper.

You do not need to keep every paper and envelope.
