This year, 25 moms from our Early Childhood Education (ECE) program have volunteered  to serve as Room Reps for their children's classrooms. Over the course of the year, Room Reps will collectively volunteer more than 150 hours of service. Thank you, Room Reps, for all you do!

Little BoyThe Lasting Impact of Early Intervention    
Recent tragedies have drawn attention to and sparked conversation about the impact of violence on children and families. Sadly, we know all too well that violence is a part of life for countless children across the country on a daily basis. Thousands of children living in our own Minnesota communities regularly encounter trauma and violence which has become a heartbreaking part of their everyday reality.

 

Early Intervention services at St. David's Center focus on the root issues of trauma, improving the developmental trajectories of hundreds of our community's most vulnerable children. MORE...

St. David's Center says goodbye to a dear friend. Rachel Roen, an esteemed member of our Board and true champion of our mission, passed away on November 18, 2012.

Creative Kidstuff recently hosted a  "Shop for a Cause" day that yielded $1,143 worth of donations to St. David's Center. Additionally, a percentage of proceeds from the toy store's "Share a Holiday Gift" day benefited St. David's Center.
