♪ You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not shout I'm tellin' you why - Santa Claus is coming to town! ♪ I must say, that is my very first holiday song of the season this year, and it's just in my head. It will most likely be stuck there for a while too... Well, at least I'm getting in the holiday mood! I hope you are getting in the holiday mood too, and if not, I hope this email can get you a little closer.
While you are trying to get that song out of your head also, take a look at what is coming your way this month on our Calendar. If you haven't started your shopping yet (like me), or need to get started on decorating the house (like me), we both have nothing to worry about. I am SO glad a customer sent me this
Customer Creations this past month! It really is a perfect, easy and cost effective kitchen spruce up right before the holidays. And, they sent me PICTURES :)
It is amazing how much cabinet hardware can change a room. We noticed that you had 75% off of a large selection of cabinet hardware and that motivated us to do a low cost, high impact change up to our kitchen. In one short evening we had all of our cabinets and doors adorned with beautiful new pulls and knobs. Our kitchen went from boring to sophisticated. I think it gives my whole kitchen a high end feel. Such quick and easy results had me thinking I was an HGTV Design Star. Now I'm thinking about the bathroom cabinets and the kids dressers and the guest room closet and.....

Go with your HGTV self! I know that channel makes me think I can build a house from scratch in one afternoon :) But this project is definitely do-able and cost effective. And you're right, we have a HUGE selection of closeout styles of knobs and pulls PLUS all of the new styles we brought in to replace the closeouts. There is bound to be the perfect knob or pull for HGTV star, or someone just sprucing up the place :)

Hummingbirds
If you spend any time outdoors at my sister's house, you WILL be buzzed by a hummingbird or two at certain times of the day. She does spoil them though, which is easy to do with the amount of bird feeding supplies we have here at Paul's.
When I was reading up on hummingbirds for this article I ran across some really interesting information about them on the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum website. For instance, I had no idea that hummingbirds needed spider webs to build their nests. I'm feeling bad - I just cleaned up a lot of spider webs on the back patio the other day! I also learned that hummingbirds temporarily hibernate or become torpid. They do so to conserve energy when low on food or during migration. Just a couple interesting little facts I thought I'd share. Now come and get your birdfeeders so you can watch them yourselves! :)
