NYIAS is pleased to announce the first-ever MediaPost Marketing Automotive Conference at the New York Auto Show. The day-long program will be held on the Show's second press day, Thursday, March 24 at the Javits Center.
During the conference, MediaPost will take the wraps off of some of the biggest challenges facing automotive advertising and marketing today.
Topics include how automakers are addressing a future of connected cars, alternative power-train technology, and quickly evolving consumer expectations and desires.
At the inaugural conference, MediaPost will take a hard look at how the auto industry is addressing these transformations through a variety of panel discussions featuring industry experts.
"The Auto Show is excited to be bringing this important conference together during Press Preview Week," said Mark Schienberg, president of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association, the organization that owns and operates the New York Auto Show. "From the very beginning, Madison Avenue has played an integral role in the success of the auto industry, and we're pleased to present this important program here at the Auto Show."
"The automotive industry has always been one of the most prominent and exciting industry sectors MediaPost covers in our journalism and live events," said MediaPost's publisher, Kenneth Fadner. "This year, we are thrilled to be part of the New York Auto Show, and bring our Marketing Automotive Conference to the automotive community."
Of course, no conference on marketing would be complete without some great examples of campaigns and strategies automakers are using today. So, for the first time ever, MediaPost will announce the results of MediaPost's Marketing Automotive Awards following the conference.
The Auto Show is open to the public from March 25 - April 3 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. Press Preview days are March 23 & 24.
