The Teacher Creativity Fellowship Program provides support for K-12 teachers, principals, guidance counselors, and school librarians in Indiana to take time during the summer to pursue a personal interest, explore a subject that interests them, and/or re-energize before returning to the classroom in the fall. Past fellowship recipients have explored national parks, studied Tajik language and culture, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, trained under a master woodworker, and photographed cathedrals in central Europe, among many other activities. Since the program began in 1987, more than twenty-five hundred Indiana educators have received grants for a dizzying array of imaginative adventures.
