Eligibility: nonprofit organizations for programs that provide youth with access to new technologies and help them become interested and fluent in digital learning while developing skills that better prepare them for future education and career success.
Maximum Grant Amount: $10,000.00

Description:
Programs should help teens build 21st century skills by utilizing cutting-edge technology such as computers, digital cameras, video cameras and professional software in a wide range of areas including (but not limited to):
* Audio production (including music mixing & recording)
* Coding/3D printing
* Computer maintenance and repair
* Digital photography/graphic design
* Filmmaking & videography
* Maker faires/hack-a-thons
* Mobile & game app development
* Programming
* Robotics
* Web site design
To be eligible, applicants must be nonprofit organizations with existing out-of-school time programs with a proven track record of serving youth between the ages of 13 and 18 in underserved communities. In addition, programs must operate within fifty miles of a Best Buy store or other Best Buy center of operations; have a commitment to diversity and inclusion; be willing to integrate Geek Squad Academy curricula into existing programming (if appropriate).

Description:
The Edward D. and Ione Auer Foundation is a private charitable foundation that awards grants exclusively for charitable purposes. Ione Breeden Auer created the Foundation in 1984. Funding for the foundation comes from lifetime gifts from Edward D. and Ione Auer, as well as the proceeds of their estates.
The Foundation provides that all or any part of the net income and principal of the assets of the Foundation may be distributed for the following purposes:
To accomplish or aid general charitable purposes and/or the construction and completion of any project or projects designed to benefit the general community of the area commonly known as metropolitan Fort Wayne
Ione also recommended the Foundation give particular consideration to charitable organizations in which she showed an interest during her lifetime, including: Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne, the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra, the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, and the Allen County Public Library. The Foundation encourages these organizations to collaborate with other nonprofit organizations. In general, Mrs. Auer's interests included parks, music, arts, and education.

Eligibility:
Nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3), U.S. organizations; units of state or local government; or federally recognized tribal communities or tribes may apply. Applicants may be arts organizations, local arts agencies, arts service organizations, local education agencies (school districts), and other organizations that can help advance the goals of the Arts Endowment.
Grant Amount Range: $10,000.00-100,000.00
Description:
We fund projects only. Projects may consist of one or more specific events or activities. Projects do not have to be new. Excellent existing projects can be just as competitive as new activities. Projects do not need to be big either; we welcome small projects that can make a difference in their community or field.
Purpose of the grant is to support the creation of art that meets the highest standards of excellence, public engagement with diverse and excellent art, lifelong learning in the arts, and the strengthening of communities
