Description:
The Pedigree Foundation is dedicated to helping dogs in need find loving homes by supporting the good work of nonprofit shelters and dog rescue organizations throughout the country. The Foundation offers Innovation Grants, ranging from $10,000 to $25,000, for programs that focus specifically on the development and initial implementation of creative programs that increase the number of canine adoptions. Program Development Grants, ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, are provided to implement new programs or support the expansion of current programs that increase their numbers of canine adoptions.Visit the Foundation's website to review the grant guidelines

Description:
The Foellinger Foundation invests heavily in Capacity Building grants because they help fulfill our mission to support effective leaders and nonprofits. Such organizations are always seeking ways to reach, stretch, grow, and excel. Capacity Building is about helping an organization move to its next level of effectiveness. The Foundation offers three types of Capacity Building grants: Transform, Renew, and Inspire

Program: Student Achievement Grants

Subjects: Education, K-12, public schools, public higher education  


Geographic Area: National

 

Eligibility:
Applicants must be public school educators in grades PreK-12, public school support professionals, or faculty and staff at public higher education instiutions.  
  

Average Grant Award$2,000-5,000.00

Deadline: June 1, 2015  

Description:

The NEA Foundation provides grants to improve the academic achievement of students in U.S. public schools and public higher education institutions in any subject area(s). The proposed work should engage students in critical thinking and problem solving that deepens their knowledge of standards-based subject matter. The work should also improve students' habits of inquiry, self-directed learning, and critical reflection.
