Memo from The Metro Board of Directors and the Justice Committee

The City of Charleston,SC, has established a fund to help the families of those slain in the Emanuel AME Church tragedy. The fund will be used to help the families with funerals, counseling and other costs.

The Board of Directors and the Social Justice Committee invite you to join in making a donation to this very important cause as a way of our responding to this horrific tragedy. Our financial response will be meeting people in great pain at their point of greatest need.

Please make your contributions to the Metro Association and we will send one big check (100% of your gift will go to the cause for which it is intended).  This is our chance to touch the Emanuel AME Church family and community in a way that declares our love and lets them know we stand with them.  Blessings.

Please make checks payable to the Metropolitan Association and mail to 102-19 34th Avenue, 2nd Floor, Corona, NY 11368

We will keep you updated on donations received

Reginald Brantley,

Metro Board President

Escorted trip dates to our community are July 18-25 and August 1-8 (other date options are also possible).

Please consider giving a deserving child a change to enjoy the simple pleasures of a vacation away from the hot, crowded city streets.
