December 5, 7:30-10pm
LGBTQ Shabbat Evening

Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester-Rye is hosting a Shabbat evening for the LGBTQ Community-singles, families, and allies are welcome. The event is being co-sponsored by Mosaic of Westchester. See attached flyer.




December 9, 12:30-1:30pm
Lunch & Learn, Hillels of Westchester, 
Sarah Lawrence College

Bina Raskin, Mosaic's Director, will be speaking about her recent trip to Israel with a diverse group of LGBTQ individuals as part of A Wider Bridge's fourth annual LGBTQ mission trip to Israel. For more information, contact Bina Raskin.


December 14, 12:30-2:30pm
Chanukah Brunch for LGBTQ Adults
Our hosts will be providing brunch, including lots of potato latkes. Please bring a kosher dessert or wine (they keep a kosher home). The festivities include a Chanukah grab bag so bring a gift for $10 or less and join the fun! For more information and to RSVP contact Bina Raskin.


December 17, 7:45-9:30pm
Leaders of Aguda, the Israel National LGBT Taskforce 

will be speaking at the Westchester Jewish Center (WJC), 175 Rockland Avenue in Mamaroneck. Learn about the 40-year history of the fight for LGBT rights in Israel, same-sex families and pro-LGBT laws in the country,  equality in the IDF and openly gay and transgender people who serve in the army. See attached flyer.

 

 The event is co-sponsored by A Wider Bridge, WJC 's Israel and Adult-Education committees, and Mosaic of Westchester


December 25, 3-6pm
Gathering for Jewish LGBTQ Community on Christmas Day
Instead of Chinese food and a movie this year, come together for a casual potluck dinner with Jewish LGBTQ friends and straight allies.  Children welcome.  Bring a dish or beverage and enjoy good company! For more information and to RSVP, contact Laura at [email protected]
