Dear Friends,

We hope you will join us for our Inaugural Fundraiser on Saturday, September 13th from

4-7 PM, at Westerleigh, a private residence in Greenwich, Connecticut. Special guests include Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Jody Williams, Brandon Steiner, Jasmine Mans, Peter Balakian and Susanne Pari.

If you have not yet purchased your tickets, then please purchase them online, or send us an email at info@lakotachildren.org to arrange to pay at the door. Attendance is limited, so act soon to save your spot! If you cannot attend, please consider making a contribution - our programs depend upon the generosity of people like you.

We are working with an incredible group of talented youth on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, who are committed to their education and realizing their full potential. If you are not familiar with our programs, then please visit our website and read about our impact.

We hope to see you on Saturday, September 13th in Greenwich. A donor has paid all costs of the event to ensure that 100% of the money raised will go to our programs and will be be tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Peace,

The LCE Team

Westerleigh, the home of Steven and Diana Steinman, is modeled after the stately Edwardian country houses designed by British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens in early 1900s. The estate features a facade of gorgeous earth-toned antique limestone imported from abandoned Chinese villages and beautiful English gardens interspersed with several water features. The interiors by Michael Aiduss Interior Design seamlessly complement the exterior architecture.

"LCE never lets us forget that those of us who remain in school and give back to our communities really are the 'cool' kids." ~Youth Board member Bobby

"[LCE] ignited a flame in my heart. I was so thankful that someone cares about our reservation. It also motivated me to become a better me." ~Youth Board member Colton

"You have given us, our Lakota youth, a glimmer of hope and inspiration!! Together we can make that difference that will create leaders and will allow the youth to realize their full potentials!" ~Mother of Youth Board member
