PDMA Headquarters News
PDMA Announces Appointment of New Executive Director
As of January 1, 2014, PDMA will welcome a new Executive Director, Chris Mundschenk. The Board confirmed the appointment of Mundschenk in a recent Board meeting. Mundschenk brings more than a decade of association management experience and has been effective across a range of organizations and circumstances, including both trade and professional associations. He has demonstrated success in building teams and driving outcomes for organizations through customer service, volunteer management, program innovation, creativity, and disciplined financial management.
As Executive Director, Mundschenk will work with the PDMA Board of Directors and Executive Committee to oversee the direction of the organization, including the creation and management of programs for the product development and management community and PDMA's membership. He sees innovation as the critical spark that creates new market value and drives economic growth. As Executive Director of PDMA, he plans to work closely with our members to help champion the practice of innovation and product development and to continue to enable PDMA to grow as a global organization.
PDMA extends its gratitude to Brad Barbera, who has managed the association over the past two and a half years, Barbera will return to a role more directly engaged in product development and will continue in a volunteer role with PDMA as content editor for Visions.
