3rd Annual Disruptive Innovations to Advance Clinical Trials

September 19-20, 2013 The Fairmont Copley Plaza, Boston, MA

Co-Chaired by Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Novartis and Janssen, DPharm is the definitive event for innovators in the clinical trial space. The entire conference introduces novel and bold approaches to help attendees think radically different about how to do clinical trials.

Program highlights include the opening presentation on designing a non-traditional clinical trial followed by a case study on alternative clinical settings. The Keynote chat features Dr Krishna Yeshwant from Google Ventures where he gives his perspective as a physician, programmer and entrepreneur on new approaches to disrupt drug development. Brand new to the program is a collaboration with MIT where they will share the results of a Hackathon on barriers to clinical trials. The conference also has special guests covering disruptive innovation from both Bloomberg Business Week and the Discovery Channel.

The dpharm event is for anyone interested in innovative approaches to changing the pace of clinical trials. PDMA members get a 25% discount with code PDMA. To register and for more information please

These smart products, through the use of intelligent circuitry and interconnectivity, offer never-before-seen value, but pose challenges both to the manufacturer (trying to establish a foothold) and to the consumer (who seeks to realize the offered value).
