Visions Magazine Launches Enhanced Digital Edition, Increases Frequency

PDMA is excited to announce that Visions will become a digital publication starting in 2013. The move to a new digital publishing platform allows Visions to grow from a three-times-a-year magazine to quarterly, providing PDMA members with more of the top-quality content they've come to expect from Visions.

Members will now receive their issue of Visions magazine quicker than ever—via a link in their e-mail inbox. The publication will retain its same look on the digital platform but will now feature enhanced multimedia capabilities and greater shareability. Most importantly, the move to digital means members will receive a full extra issue of Visions each year.

“We feel that the move to primarily digital platforms for Visions will add a great deal of value for our members,” said Brad Barbera, PDMA executive director. “First and foremost, it allows PDMA to publish more content without additional cost to our members. The electronic version will not just be a PDF file of the print version—it will enable the content to be even richer through the inclusion of videos, animations, searchability and dynamic links that provide greater insights into innovation knowledge. Visions content will be more easily shared amongst colleagues, enhancing the ability to network and collaborate with fellow innovators. And, of course, the move to digital saves resources of paper for printing and fuel for distribution.

As with the PDMA's Journal of Product Innovation Management ( JPIM ), print issues of Visions will be available to members who wish to subscribe for $15 per year in 2013. Print subscriptions are available exclusively to PDMA members.

For more information on Visions magazine, please contact Editor-in-Chief Dennis Coyle.
