As a native Bendite, with amazing social connections, I have a very extensive knowledge of Central Oregon and its ever changing real estate market. I work very hard to stay up to date on the current market and believe in open communication with my clients to stay on task at meeting and exceeding their expectations.  With a background in the arts and construction, I have an eye for detail and it is my passion to help you make your new house a home and your investments work for you.

 

Before becoming a broker, I received my BS from OSU Cascades and have worked for many years as a teacher, nanny, and tutor locally and abroad where I have thoroughly enjoyed my work with children of all ages and abilities and theirfamilies. During these years, I always worked on my own real estate investments and remodels as a hobby, but have enjoyed switching this passion into my career. I know how busy life can be, so I make it a priority to be fully accessible to my clients and work around their schedules.

 

I am here for your real estate needs, whether it be your first home, dream home, investment, or selling, I will listen to you and your needs and concerns.

These statistics are for stick built homes on 1.0 acre or less in Bend zip codes 97701 and 97702 and do not include manufactured homes, condos, or townhomes. This report uses market data based on transactions that closed from January 1 through September 30, 2014. All statistics come directly from the Central Oregon MLS. The first portion of this report looks at the Bend real estate market in its entirety. Latter sections focus on more specific segments of the market.

The Impact of the SAFE Act and Dodd-Frank on Seller Financing

Enacted in 2008, the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act -the SAFE Act- was part of Washington's answer to the subprime loan crisis. Specifically, the SAFE Act tried to help by creating a nationwide system for licensing and registering those engaged in mortgage loan origination activities, mortgage loan originators (MLOs). However, application of the SAFE Act was not limited to your traditional mortgage broker, but also applied to those engaged in seller financing.
