I spent most of my life in Colorado and after graduating from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, I moved to Oregon with my husband Matt, a Bend native. After living in Eugene, Corvallis, Portland, and China, we chose to move to Bend for the same reasons most people do - amazing climate, people, and outdoor recreation. We now have a 2-year old son, Wyatt.

I am both a listing broker and a buyer's broker. Having worked in the real estate industry since 2005, I have experienced the highs and lows of the Bend market. In order to keep up with the changes, I earned the National Association of Realtors' SFR designation (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource), which allows me to effectively help sellers maneuver the complexities of short sales as well as help buyers pursue short sale and foreclosure opportunities.

Although I have chosen not to "specialize" in any one segment of the market, I particularly enjoy working with second-home buyers and relocation buyers. They are typically so excited about moving to Bend so giving them tours of this beautiful town and helping them pinpoint the perfect neighborhood and home that will fit their needs and lifestyle is particularly gratifying and quite honestly, a lot of fun! I love Bend, I love real estate, and I want my clients to enjoy the process too. My seller clients have a competitive edge in the market since I make it a point to stay ahead of the curve by utilizing the latest technology and innovative marketing.

I am committed to helping you buy or sell your home with the highest level of professionalism and expertise in the local market while helping you to understand each step of the buying or selling process. I want each of my clients to feel like they are my most important client. If I haven't accomplished that then I haven't done my job.

SELLING A RENTAL PROPERTY?  KNOW THE TENANT'S LEGAL RIGHTS.

Question: I am a licensed real estate broker. I have a client property owner who wants to list their rental property with me for sale and it is occupied by a tenant under a rental agreement. As is standard procedure for handling a listing, I am preparing to have a lockbox put in place on the property, but I just heard there may be some question about the legality of doing this because of the tenant occupancy. Is there, and is there anything else I should know about how to deal with the showing of the property, the conduct of open houses, and so on, given the tenant occupancy?
