"Milwaukee School of Engineering is a leading school in teaching fluid power and motion control for both undergraduate students and industry professionals. Lately we have upgraded our training equipment with Automation Studio™ Educational version. Our material were no more static presentations, it became live and interactive. The whole circuits are now presented for the students and discussed interactively to reinforce the understanding of the basic and advanced concepts. With the use of Automation Studio™, teaching fluid power and motion control became fun. Automation Studio™ helped us a lot in developing PC-Based training modules. Thanks for Automation Studio™."

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
May 6-10 is set aside to recognize our most important asset in education - our teachers. At Moss, we appreciate the sacrifices educators make every day in the name of their students, and we relish the opportunity to recognize your hard work!
Our mission is to help teachers be more successful in the classroom
by providing the right tools for the classroom, from the latest technology to curriculum and equipment. Now is the time in the year to consider your needs for the coming school year. We have included a checklist of order dates to keep in mind when placing orders for the fall.
Finally, we would like to recognize Tom Farmer, Moss Education Specialist at the K-12 and Post-Secondary level. Tom will retire at the end of May after almost eight years as an Education Specialist. Before joining the Moss team, Tom was both a teacher and principal in Iowa. We wish Tom the best in his retirement.

The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows. ~Sydney J. Harris |
Some students embark on career exploration in high school Several states -- including Illinois, Georgia, New York and Tennessee -- are creating new high-school pathways targeting career preparation to make high school more relevant, help prepare students for life after graduation and keep the door open for their pursuit of higher education. Some schools, such as Wheeling High School in Illinois, allow students to pursue certificates in nursing and other professions while still in high school and gain other experience that will be useful as they choose and pursue a career.
Pitsco Education exposes students to career pathways as early as Middle School in their STEM labs. Contact Moss today for a customized solution!
How robotics can reinforce math lessons Teachers from some Maryland schools recently came together with engineers and scientists for a training session aimed at showing how robotics can help educators engage students in math. One teacher said he will begin using robotics kits with students as soon as possible because such tools can help reach struggling students. Think Robotics courses are just for the CTE department? Think again! FANUC gives students hands-on experience while incorporating Math concepts. Learn more about the CERT programs today - Contact Moss to learn more about robotics programs. |
