Financial Aid
Attention 12th graders and families of 12th graders:  the deadline by which students must fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and receive first consideration for the Cal Grants is March 2nd, 2014.   Some private colleges require the FAFSA to be submitted sooner, along with the CSS Profile (profileonline.collegeboard.com).

Most Santa Cruz High students have their social security number on file with the school registrar, so the GPA verification form will be submitted electronically by the Santa Cruz High School registrar.  If the school does not have your student's social security number on file, you will need to also submit a Cal Grant Verification form by the March 2nd deadline.  For more information, see http://www.calgrants.org.

The regular deadline for the March 8 SAT is February 7.  The regular deadline for the May 3 SAT/Subject Tests is April 4.  For more information about other test dates, registration and deadlines, visit www.collegeboard.com, and if you have questions about the SAT or Subject Tests please contact the SCHS guidance office at 429-3969, x300.
