Jonathan Williams Wins the 2015 MyCom Youth Voice Awards Logo Competition!

Please join our MyCom network in congratulating our 2015 MyCom Youth Voice Awards logo design competition winner, Jonathan Williams!  Jonathan is 18 and attends Lincoln West High School where his favorite subject is History.  He learned about the MyCom competition from his instructor at NewBridge Academy and entered the winning design as a part of his class assignment.  "I wanted to share my creativity and talent with others, so I submitted my design trying to convey the diversity of and excitement for youth," said Jonathan.  He is interested in attending college to become a graphic design professional and will use his $100 prize towards his college fund.  Jonathan's personal hero is his mother Faye who is "extremely proud of Jonathan's work ethic and enthusiasm."  Meet Jonathan and his mother at the 2015 Youth Voice Awards and help us congratulate this future graphic design professional!  Tickets are $30.

Meet our MyCom Youth Voice Awards Logo Design Competition Runner-Up: Willoh Slade!

Willoh is a 14 year-old from Shaker Heights who attends Shaker Heights High School.  She heard about the MyCom Youth Voice Award Logo Design Competition from her instructor at New Bridge Academy.  As the runner-up, Willoh will receive $50 for her design. When asked what she planned to do with her winnings, she smartly replied, "I'll probably save it."  She loves to design, play basketball (she is the Center for Shaker Heights High School), and shop.  Her personal hero is her mom, Janessa, who is most proud of Willoh because "She is not a follower and she exercises good judgment.  She has immense talent and I am very happy for her to have this recognition."  Willoh will be recognized at the 2015 Youth Voice Awards being held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 5:30pm-7:30pm and is presented by Lago on the East Bank of the Flats.  MyCom is generously supported by The Cleveland Foundation.
