CHAMBER NEWS
ENGAGING * CONNECTING * COLLABORATING
Dear Greetings!,

Thank you again for your continued support. In recent weeks, two of my newest staff members - along with everybody's favorite Paula Wick -- have been reaching out to make contact with Chamber membership. The reception they've received from members is very much appreciated.  For those of you who haven't had a chance to meet or speak with Philippa Perry (Director of Operations)  or Lura Compognis (Executive Assistant to the President/CEO),  please make a point to stop in or call to say hello. They are fantastic additions to our staff.

On April 15th, NCC Community Alliance Leader Mechanics Bank was at it again with a "Random Act of Kindness" at Molinari Caff. Mechanics treated patrons to complimentary coffee, tea, breakfast and pastries as a way to assist owner Rick Molinari, whose business has been affected by post-earthquake construction taking place at neighboring buildings. Check out what Rick had to say about the festivities on KVON's "Today In The Napa Valley - Napa Chamber Edition" with host Chris Templeton. Listen here.

We'll be out doing more things like this with local non-profits and businesses as part of our Community Crusade with Mechanics Bank so please stay tuned.

For those of you who haven't heard, KVON has come on board to serve as presenting co-sponsor (with Napa Valley Wine Train) of the NCC Leads Over Lunch program.  As part of the new partnership, General Manager Larry Sharp serves as co-host of the monthly event and everyone in attendance has an opportunity to win a "Business of the Week" radio ad campaign, courtesy of KVON and The Vine. Congratulations to Ross Owen and Schrette Insurance Services, this week's winner of a 60-spot, 30-second ad campaign,  produced and broadcast by KVON/KVYN, a great Chamber partner and member.

Again, thank you all for your continued support of the Chamber.

Sincerely,

Travis Stanley

      Leads Over Lunch
Presented by the Napa Valley Wine Train and KVON 1440

This month's Leads Over Lunch featured TPO HR Management as our speaker. We were privileged to hear about our meal directly from Kelly Macdonald, the Wine Train's Executive Chef. Thanks Kelly!

We'd also like to congratulate attendee Ross Owen who won the drawing for "Business of the Week", a featured radio spot on KVON worth $1,250.

We were happy to have Mayor Jill Techel join us for the re-opening of Andaz Napa. We're grateful to have this local institution back in business after they were forced to shut their doors following the earthquake.

Thanks to Bryan Gray for the photograph

Random Acts of Kindness
Molinari Caffe offered free food and drink to all patrons on April 15th from 9-11 am

The Napa Chamber of Commerce and Mechanic's Bank sponsored a Random Acts of Kindness event at Molinari Caffe. People were thrilled to get their coffee (and maybe a little snack!) for free. We loved watching people's faces light up when they found out that there is such a thing as a free meal.
