Welcome Sue and Time to Remember
The Seward County Chamber & Development Partnership (SCCDP) has hired Sue McHugh as our Membership and Events Coordinator. She has been serving in this role on an interim basis for the SCCDP during the past few months. We are excited to have Sue grow her role into a full-time position. She brings a tremendous amount of energy, ideas, and relationship-building skills to the job. Most recently, Sue helped organize a group of volunteers to host the Lincoln Saltdogs on May 12 in Seward County (thanks to those that volunteered for, supported, and/or attended the event). The Seward County Independent was gracious to run a press release in last week's newspaper giving more details about her professional background. Here is the link: http://www.sewardindependent.com/news/article_cb1ad1ac-1c74-11e6-82bf-9f4ca8f1821a.html. Please take the time to congratulate Sue and wish her the best in her new role. Sue's e-mail address is: sue.mchugh@sewardne.com.
The SCCDP office will be closed on Monday, May 30 in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 31. Our sincere gratitude to those brave men and women who have served our country and paid the ultimate sacrifice. We also take this opportunity to thank all of our military veterans and those currently serving in active duty. We are grateful and humbled by your selfless service to our country.
