Today we want to say, "Thank you!"

Thank you to our many dedicated volunteers who make Seward County great. We often don't take time to reflect and acknowledge how many volunteer hours go into the planning and execution of some of our most cherished local events. For example, think about the hundreds of volunteer hours that it takes to run a successful Milford Fun Days, Utica Heritage Days, the Seward 4th of July, the Seward Christmas Festival, the weekly Farmers Market at the Seward County Courthouse, and the event list goes on.

There are quite a few exciting upcoming events across Seward County. Please keep up-to-date with these events by viewing the Seward County Chamber & Development Partnership (SCCDP) calendar.  We have recently been meeting with groups across Seward County to discuss coordinating calendars to ensure events countywide are adequately promoted. We'll be providing updates on this comprehensive Seward County calendar in the near future.

One important upcoming event is the Lincoln Saltdogs exhibition game being held on Thursday, May 12 at Seward's Plum Creek Ballpark. If you'd like to volunteer, sponsor, or buy tickets for the upcoming event, please contact Sue McHugh at our office at: sue.mchugh@sewardne.com. This is a countywide event to help bring families and friends together. Also, it's a fundraiser to help promote the work of the SCCDP. Please plan to join us on May 12 at the "Old Ball Game!"
