From Kathy's Desk

Due to the snow storm last week, your Chamber board of directors postponed their February monthly meeting until tomorrow, February 9th. The Board will take action on the Salt Dogs Exhibition Game sponsorship, ratify the ballots from the annual business meeting held on Jan. 19th, and discuss steps and timeline for the transition to the new Seward County Chamber & Development Partnership. Some initial steps include closing and consolidating bank accounts.

We are very pleased to share the Milford Chamber of Commerce board of Directors adopted the Seward County vision and guiding principles last week. We are finalizing a membership structure (dues and categories) to share with the new Partnership board once it is in place - now later this month due to the inclement weather last week. The vision working group is also talking about a schedule for meeting with other village boards in Seward County as soon as possible. We are thankful for everyone's support and patience.

We are looking forward to seeing an amazing group of women business owners next week for our first roundtable gathering and a learning session about digital marketing. See more information below and hope you will join us. There is no cost to attend.

Have a great week,

Kathy Evert
