From Kathy's Desk

The Christmas Festival and Lighted Holiday Parade on Saturday were a lot of fun.  A huge thank-you to our Co-Chairs - Sharon and Steve Hambek - and to the dozens and dozens of volunteers, donors and sponsors.  The volunteers are listed below and festivals like this would not just happen without them.

Several downtown merchants are planning Thursday night specials during December.  Thursday, December 3rd will be a Color Yourself Silly promotion night and includes adult coloring night at Chapters Books & Gifts and color coded discounts at Mueri Drug, The Second Closet and Heartspun Flowers and Gifts. Christmas colored snacks will also be provided.  Dan's Custom Works and Apparel, a new Chamber member, will be offering a 20% discount every Thursday night in December on gifts for your loved ones, currently serving in the military.  Stop and see Dan at his new location at 640 Seward Street, in downtown Seward.

Later this week you will receive your 2016 Chamber membership renewal letter and invoice.  We thank all of the 200+ members of the Seward Area Chamber of Commerce again this year and look forward to working with you even more in 2016.

We welcome new Chamber members, Olde Glory Theatre and Community Hall and S&S Design!

Have a great week,

Kathy Evert, Interim Executive Director
