Rudolph's Red Nose Run -
Advertising Opportunities for your business
The 2015 Rudolph's Red Nose Run is set for Saturday, December 5th.  This event brings 65 or more runners/walkers and is a fun event.  Run or walk in either the 5k or 1 mile race. Costumes encouraged, but not required!   T-shirt ads are available - $100 w/your logo; $25 with your name.  Please contact Denise or any of us at the Chamber office is you want to advertise on the t-shirts this year.

Each year, hundreds of dollars are donated by businesses and individuals to help with all of the fun parts and activities that make up the Christmas Festival.  We have created a donation link on our website through our PayPal account and encourage anyone who would like to contribute any amount, $5, $20, $50, $100 or more, to do so through this online link.  You can designate a certain part of the Christmas Festival that you'd like your donation to be targeted or just to the general Christmas Festival through the Seward Chamber of Commerce.  Donations can also be dropped off or mailed to the Seward Area Chamber of Commerce.
We thank you for your love and support of this annual event.

Congratulations and thank you to Dr. Janell Uffelman, founder and director of the Plum Creek Children's Literacy Festival on the 20th annual event, bringing over 11,000 children, adults and nationally renowned authors and illustrators to Seward and Concordia University campus last weekend.  What an amazing history and a special gem for the Seward area.  Thank you to everyone involved and to all who attended.

Rural Opportunities Job Fair
October 21

The Seward Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Seward County Economic Development Corporation at an upcoming job fair titled "Rural Opportunities Job Fair".  The event is hosted by the University of Nebraska's Rural Futures Institute, is schedule for Oct. 21st, and is intended to connect students with rural communities and businesses.  The fair will allow students to explore internship, job, social and business opportunities in rural Nebraska.  This is a first-time event and we encourage all businesses and organizations in Seward County to send us any job openings, internship opportunities, and other opportunities that we can promote during this event.  If you send them to us by email or fax no later than October 15th, we will include them in the information that will be shared at the Seward County booth at this job fair.  This is a free opportunity to promote your business and job opportunities to potential job candidates.
