Happy Fall; my most favorite time of year!
The 2016 Spring Show Registration is being shared first with Chamber Members before going out to everyone else, giving you first chance at reserving a place in the 2016 show! Take advantage of the pre-registration discount to save $25 off the normal registration fee.

Each year, hundreds of dollars are donated by businesses and individuals to help with all of the fun parts and activities that make up the Christmas Festival. The Christmas Committee has been hard at work in pulling all of the pieces and minute details together to ensure that many favorite Christmas stories are shared during and after this year's festival. We have created a donation link on our website through our PayPal account and encourage anyone who would like to contribute any amount, $5.00, $20.00, $50.00, $100.00 or more, to do so through this online link. You can designate a certain part of the Christmas Festival that you'd like your donation to be targeted or just to the general Christmas Festival through the Seward Chamber of Commerce. Donations can also be dropped off or mailed to the Seward Area Chamber of Commerce.

Let It Snow Campaign
This was a successful promotion 10 years ago and it is back! Chamber members are invited to participate and may it snow 5" or more on January 20, 2016! If so, your customers can bring back their receipts and get a full refund of their expenditures at your business between November 10th and December 20th.
A minimum of 20 businesses are needed and we are well over half way there. An advertising package will also be a part of the promotion. Please contact me so we can talk in more detail - kathy.evert@sewardne.com or call the Chamber office at 643-4189. This will be a great promotion for the participating businesses and the entire community. Let's all spread the word.

New Chamber Members
Starting in October, we will be featuring new members that have joined the Chamber, who have not been a member in the past. We will put the names in a hat, draw one out each month, and include a small write up in our Weekly Update.

Open House October 8, 9 am - 4 pm

Kolterman Insurance Agency and Jones Insurance Agency will be hosting an open house on October 8 from 9 am to 4 pm at their business at 344 Main Street, Seward.
Refreshments will be served.
