From the Director
Be sure to watch sewardne.com for the latest events and updated commercial property listings. A lot of exciting things are coming up, including the regional job fair, Seward Spring Show, the Seward Spring Clean Up and Seward nights with area sports teams.
Our partnerships with the Saltdogs (baseball) and Haymakers (indoor football) provide a great exposure for Seward, our businesses and the Chamber. Businesses purchasing 15 or more tickets through the Chamber receive special promotion during the game. If 100 or more tickets per game are sold through the Chamber, half of the proceeds stay right here in Seward. For more information on how you can participate and promote your organization, please call me at 402-643-4189.

Understanding TIF and LB840 Programs
Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and the Local Option Municipal Economic Development Act (LB840) can be powerful tools to start or grow a business. We'll cover the differences between the two, how to determine which program(s) to use for particular types of projects and the steps in the program's processes.
