        tank

Lolita was captured in Salish Sea and shipped to the Miami Seaquarium where she has been forced to perform tricks daily for the last 42 years. Lolita is confined alone, in the smallest orca tank in North America - a tank which fails to meet the US Department of Agriculture's (USDA) minimum standards for housing a whale of her size.

Please join the efforts to help Lolita by visiting

www.orcanetwork.org and reading their detailed plan to return Lolita to her home waters and reunite her with her family, the L pod.

THE FIRST KILLER WHALE CAPTURE WAS IN 1961

SHE DIED TWO DAYS LATER

WHEN SHE SLAMMED HER HEAD INTO THE SIDE OF THE TANK
