I would like to congratulate our graduating seniors. It was wonderful to see many of our alumni at the Senior Luncheon, which was sponsored by the Alumni Association. It was an awesome afternoon, with lunch provided by Papa John's and It's-It ice cream (thank you, Paul Shamieh '02!) Lunch was followed by a raffle that included iPads, Giants tickets, Beats by Dr. Dre, and gift cards. I look forward to seeing the Class of 2014 on Graduation Day, June 1, and I welcome them to our alumni community.
I'm looking forward to seeing many of you at the Serra Golf Classic and Tennis Tournament on June 23. We are almost full, so please R.S.V.P. soon.
Sincerely,
Bob Greene, Jr. '85 Alumni Director

As the spring sports season comes to a close, our Padres are celebrating their successes on the field, on the court, and in the pool.
Track and Field - Finished second at the WCAL Finals and will compete in CCS this week.
Swimming and Diving - Placed eighth in CCS; Erik Clark '15 won the WCAL diving championship for the second year in a row. Joe Kmak '15 broke his own his own school record in the Varsity 100-breaststroke with a time of 55:09. Cyrus Morrison '16 broke two 18-year-old frosh/soph records in the 50-fly and 100-freestyle.
Volleyball - The team had a great season and qualified for CCS. With a fourth-place finish in WCAL and its first CCS berth in many years, the Padres made it to the quarter finals of the section championships. Baseball - Tied for fourth in WCAL. UC Davis-bound Matt Blais '14 had a fantastic season with an ERA of 1.14. Sharing the hill was Loyola Marymount University-bound Sean Watkins '14, who can touch 90 mph on the radar gun. The future looks bright for Padre baseball as the freshman and JV teams both won WCAL championships.
Golf - With a strong second-place showing in the WCAL, this year's team was led by University of San Francisco-bound Ashton Silk '14.
Tennis - As a follow-up to last year's championship season, Padre tennis had another strong season, finishing second in the WCAL.
