The Spring Alumni Games are just around the corner! Please join us for an exciting day of baseball and volleyball with your fellow Padres on Saturday, April 19.
Our alumni look forward to this event every year. The day will begin at 10:30 a.m. with volleyball warm-ups, baseball warm-ups and batting practice. Volleyball games will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the alumni baseball game at noon.
The awesome alumni barbecue will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Please R.S.V.P. to me - bgreene@serrahs.com - so I can get a head count for our food and beverages.

| Serra Annual Golf Classic and Tennis Tournament |
 The Serra Golf Classic and Tennis Tournament will be held on Monday, June 23 at Peninsula Golf and Country Club. We are still looking for sponsors for the golf event.
If you would like to be a 2014 sponsor or register to play in the event, CLICK HERE. This year marks the first annual Ladies' Tennis Tournament for Serra moms, mothers of alumni and other supporters. Tennis matches will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon on June 23. Lunch will be provided in the clubhouse after the tournament. More information coming soon! | Final Weekend for Tri-School Musical |
 This is the final weekend to follow the yellow brick road...Tri-School Productions students will present The Wizard of Oz at 7:30 p.m. on April 4 and 5.  Summer at Serra is a coed, comprehensive summer program for children of all ages. Programs include middle school, pre-high and high school academics, Sports and Rec Camp, Swim School, Golden State Aquatics, and Next Level Sports.

| GoPro Shoots Basketball Video at Serra |
In October, a film crew from GoPro shot a basketball practice in Serra's Morton Family Gymnasium. The shoot was arranged by Lonie Paxton, former teammate of Serra alumnus Tom Brady '95. Paxton contacted Athletic Director Dean Ayoob '92 and Head Football Coach Patrick Walsh to use the gym to test their HD HERO3+® camera and accessories line. The video has more than 200,000 views on YouTube.
"It was pretty cool to have the video shot here," Ayoob said. "It showcases how technology brings sports alive with different camera angles."
GoPro is an American brand of high-definition personal cameras, often used in extreme action video photography. The cameras are known for being lightweight, rugged and mountable in unusual places such as outside planes, cars, or boats. The company that develops, manufactures and markets the cameras and equipment is Woodman Labs, based in San Mateo. CLICK HERE for the amazing video.
