Cognitive stimulation therapy, CST, is an evidence-based therapy that was designed for people with mild to moderate dementia. CST is a straightforward therapy program designed to connect people with dementia to others whether that is the caregiver in a facility, family member or volunteer. The program is person centered with the intent to recognize the challenges that accompany the loss of memory, respect each individual's cultural and religious background, and involve and include each member of the group.
