Don't let what may appear to be a minor offense pose as an impediment to achieving a life-long goal.

What's Happening in HOSA Clubs?
|
The 2013 year has started off great for Health Occupations Students of America health career clubs in the NEMO AHEC Chapter.
Three of the schools have held CPR certification events! Newtown-Harris, Milan, and Knox Co. all held a 6 hour workshop to get students certificed in Basic Life Support CPR. Students at Milan also got to explore the HeliVac Helicopter and talk with the emergency professionals who run the HeliVac.
Newtown-Harris hosted a special guest speaker, Lucas Wells, for one of their Jan. club meetings. He spoke to them about the CERT program. Some students were so excited about the infromation that they decided to compete in the CERT event for State HOSA competition in March!
All our clubs are starting to prepare for State HOSA Conference by gather studying supplies, making connections with community health professionals, and attending our regional activities (like MESA).
Missouri HOSA was recognized by National HOSA as one of the states that exceeded their membership numbers of last year! NEMO AHEC HOSA Chapter is proud to be part of this movement of expanding HOSA!
