Cheri Lovre to talk about coping and healing after school violence
Session for parents, community, school staff, first responders Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 9 a.m. Please register online.

On Wednesday, Nov. 5, Everett Public Schools is hosting a session with Cheri Lovre, Director of Crisis Management Institute. Ms. Lovre is working with Marysville School District after their recent tragedy. Her experience includes over 30 years of training and supporting schools in response to school shootings and other traumatic school events.

 

She is the author of several books and manuals about crisis response. Ms. Lovre also trains school staff in prevention, crisis response and mental health issues for youth.

 

When: Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014

 

Where: Community Resource Center, Port Gardner Rooms A and B         

 

Time: 9 to 11:30 a.m.

 

For whom: Staff, parents, security resource officers, first responders, community members

Healthy Youth Plan
Healthy bodies and healthy minds go hand in hand. The Board will review progress toward the goal of student health and fitness.
Teacher/Principal Evaluation Project (TPEP)
Eight out of 10 teachers and all school principals are being evaluated according to the new state evaluation criteria. The Board will review the TPEP schedule, professional learning plan and highlights of how this framework is improving student learning.
2015 legislative priorities
