Board meeting topic
Topic details
Congratulations to the district Wellness Program for Golden Apple award
Only two other school districts have ever been among the organizations earning this honor from the Healthy Worksite Summit since it began recognitions in 1989.

Two curriculum topics -- a review of the district's World Language Program and a review of the Social Studies classroom materials selection process
The World Language review is an opportunity to build on current strengths and to design a high quality world language program for K-12 students.

This year is the first in a two-year process to choose K-12 social students classroom materials. The last time the district chose new social studies materials was 2006.
2014 Summer School report
In June, the board reviewed plans in the works for summer classes. On Oct. 28, the board will see the results of those courses and set the stage for 2015 summer school plans.
