Board meeting highlights

Class of 2014
Progress to Graduation
District graduation rates are rising. The board diligently monitors graduation rates and studies specific strategies and interventions designed to help students meet the high academic standards required to graduate.
Discussion about 2014-15 school year budget
Planning and discussions about next year's budget began in November and December, continued throughout the 2014 Legislative Session and beyond, including numerous study sessions and fiscal updates -- the last one being on May 20.
Discussion about potential future capital bond proposals
District staff will provide the board with possible schedules to reconsider and/or redevelop capital bond proposals for 2015 or beyond. Included with this information will be possible solutions for accommodating student enrollment growth, including portable classrooms and potential boundary changes.
Discussion about district Property Use Matrix
In 2012 and 2013 community focus groups and board discussions helped shape the district's current Property Use Matrix. Staff will present for the board's discussion a schedule for revisions to that current Matrix and a schedule of opportunities for the board to engage the community in discussions about those potential Matrix changes.

You can find the agenda and other board materials online in BoardDocs.

When does the school board meet?
