When you get right down to it, a well designed air system is VITAL to plant production, since it's at the heart of the operation. When it's not working well, dirt and debris build up in the ducting.  The result is a dirty plant that processes a dirty end product.  

 

By contrast, a well designed air system makes for a clean running facility. The plant remains clean, 

there's virtually no air pollution to deal 

with and the end product comes out clean.

Since a properly maintained plant is an efficient one, its time to take a look at what maintenance, repairs or updates need to be done at your production facility. Take a walk through the plant...

 

Dust Control

  • Have you had your baghouse, fan & airlock inspected and evaluated for proper performance?
  • Do you notice any worn areas in your ducting/dust control system?
  • Are you getting the separation you require from your aspirators?
  • Is the air in your plant dirtier today than when your air system was first installed?

Equipment

  • Do you see any cracks in the decks?
  • Do you notice any worn out spouting?
  • Does any of your key equipment need repair?
  • Do your fans need to be balanced?
  • Have you had your critical equipment, such as motors, conveyors and fan bearings, serviced in the past 12 months? Want to know how much life is left on them?
